Custom Tumblers: A Straw Lid Is Not a Travel Seal

Tumblers can be excellent desk companions. Choose the lid, handle and size around the way recipients will actually carry their drinks.

A large handled tumbler and a compact desk cup can both belong in the same category, yet feel very different in daily use. Start by deciding whether the drink will mostly sit on a desk or travel between places.

Look at the lid first

A straw opening can suit easy sipping while the container stays upright. It should not automatically be treated as a sealed travel arrangement. Confirm the closure information for the exact model.

Keep insulation and leak resistance separate in the brief. A product can have one characteristic without establishing the other.

Check the space around it

For a larger model such as the 1.2L handled tumbler, dimensions and filled weight deserve attention. A handle changes the overall width, and a tapered base does not by itself prove a fit in every holder.

Think about the desk, bag or carrying position the recipient will use.

Make cleaning part of the gift

Straws and lids need their own care. Confirm how parts come apart and how they should be washed and dried.

When reviewing artwork, account for the handle and curved body. A logo that looks balanced on a flat mock-up can sit differently on the actual tumbler.
